1956 Jaguar XK140 Restoration
As soon as the trailer pulled up, we knew we had our work cut out for us.

We’re just getting started on another restoration project. This time, we’ll be performing a complete ground-up restoration of a 1956 Jaguar XK140 roadster. This is a matching-numbers 140 that was taken apart for restoration many years ago. As you can see in the photos, it’s seen much better days. This poor old Jag has suffered from severe rust and accident damage, so we’ve really got our work cut out for us on this one.

Basically a big pile of XK140.

We’ve already rolled up our sleeves and jumped right in. We just finished up sandblasting and next up will be sandblasting and powder coating the chassis, as well as completely rebuilding every chassis component.

Body off!

Our client would like to keep the car very original, but also have us make a few tasteful period modifications to make it more of a road-rally car. He plans on using it and driving it for many years to come in different events all over the world. We’re excited and privileged to get our hands on this project, and can’t wait to keep you posted on our progress. This is going to be a huge project, so make sure to check back and watch as it transforms into a beautiful Jaguar once again.
