Lagondas Racing at Sonoma

There are two Lagondas which currently appear in vintage racing events in Northern California. Both cars are “replicas” in that they have been constructed using period correct Lagonda components just as the originals were. These images depict Richard Morrison’s car in recent vintage racing venues. This car is a recreation of the original factory cars which were built for and which competed at the 1939 Le Mans. There were two cars built by Lagonda, and the story of their epic run at Le Mans is part of British motoring history.
