We are deep into our 1959 MGA restoration, and let me just say: man, is this going to be a lot of work! When we’re finally done with this monster project, this car will be in better-than-new condition and ready for any concours. The frame is completely stripped and fully powder coated in a semi-gloss black, as is the rest of the suspension components. We’ve chosen to go with powder coating because it’s so durable and will help preserve the car from any corrosion or rust in the future.
The body has also been fully stripped down to bare metal, and is in the process of having all the repairs made so we can achieve that perfect paint finish. The engine is fully stripped and now on its way to the machine shop for inspection and machine work. The engine will be fully rebuilt to better-than-new using ultra-modern equipment and products.
Remember to check back for more updates on this great project!
