Well it looks like Mini is up to it again with a complete redesign for 2014. A few photos have started leaking, but we will still have to wait to see what it really looks like. Most interesting to us is that Mini will be using a 3-cylinder engine for its Cooper models and a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder engine for its Cooper S models. Both engines will utilize Mini’s TwinPower Turbochargers which sounds way cool to us. This technology comes from their parent company BMW and these will be the first cars produced by Mini using BMW powertrains. In years past, Mini has used engines from Chrysler and Peugeot. Whatever Mini is up to we are sure it will be a huge success, just like all of their products in years past. We can’t wait to see what they come out with!
What are your thoughts on the prospects for the new Minis?
