For the first time in over 100 years, there is no longer a Morgan family member involved in the Morgan Motor Company. Charles Morgan, the son of Peter Morgan and the grandson of the founder of the Morgan Motor Company, H.F.S Morgan, was ousted from his position as Managing Director in March 2013 subsequent to a decision of the shareholders. On October 15, 2013 Mr. Morgan was asked to step down from his position again subsequent to a decision of the shareholders.

The new Managing Director is Steve Morris who started with the company many years ago as an employee in their tin shop. It is said that Charles Morgan will remain the face of the Morgan Motor Company internationally. Charles Morgan is currently appealing the decision.
